DRILL HEAD FRAME WAS REINFORCED TO PREVENT DRILL BIT BREAKAGE. ELECTRICAL PANEL WAS RE-ROUTED TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO DRILL HEADS FOR MAINTANENCE. ALL SYSTEMS WERE REPROGRAMMED INCLUDING AN UPGRADE TO DRIVE SYSTEM WHICH ALLOWED SKEWING THAT MATCHED CROSS MEMBER MISS-ALIGNMENT INTRODUCED DURING FLOOR CONSTRUCTION.

ALL CONTROLS WERE RE ROUTED TO MAXIMIZE SPACE AND OPERATOR EFFICIENCY. ALL PLC FUNCTIONS WERE RE-PROGRAMMED TO MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY.

DEMOTRONIC ENSURES ATTENTION TO SMALL DETAILS. THE ORIGINAL SCREW DELIVERY SYSTEM USED TUBING TO GUIDE THE SCREWS TO THE TRAILER FLOOR. DUE TO THE BENDING IN THE LINE, THE SCREWS WOULD OVER TIME PIERCE THE TUBING AND INTRODUCE DEFECTS AND DOWN TIME. DEMOTRONIC INTRODUCED A SIMPLE AND COST EFFECTIVE SOLUTION THE USES STEEL TUBING FOR THE INITIAL CURVATURE.

THE ORIGINAL DESIGN IMPLEMENTED ONE POINT LIMIT DRILL BIT SENSORS. THIS SYSTEM WAS INADEQUATE FOR DRILL BITS THAT BROKE BELOW THE SENSOR POINT AND WOULDN'T INDICATE POOR DRILL BIT PERFORMANCE. DEMOTRONIC CUSTOM DESIGNED CURRENT SENSING CIRCUITRY THAT MONITORED INDIVIDUAL MOTOR LOAD CHARACTERISTICS WHICH GAVE FEEDBACK TO THE PLC WHEN THE DRILL BIT BEGAN TO DULL.
